He has over thirty critically acclaimed solo releases in twenty countries on various record labels. The musical territory he has explored on his recording is very broad and includes Chinese, Japanese, Celtic, Latin, indigenous, jazz, classical, and rock. Ron has composed gold and double platinum selling songs for Asian superstars. He has also guested on recordings and performed with many renowned artists such as Olivia Newton John, Liona Boyd, Mychael Danna, Dadawa, Renaissance, Cesária Évora, Jim McCarty and The Yardbirds.
