Michelle Brick’s passion and devotion for music has made her a top choice among clients all over the tri-state area. Michelle and her ensembles are made up of conservatory and university trained musicians who share the common goal of creating beautiful music to add the perfect touch to any event. Michelle Brick began her musical journey at the tender age of eight years old, taking up the flute and piano. With the support of her parents and teachers, Michelle was inspired to pursue her dream of a career in music.
Michelle attended the prestigious College of New Jersey’s music program where she earned a BM in music education, with an emphasis on flute performance. Soon after, Michelle’s passion for music and learning drove her back to school to earn her MA in flute performance from Montclair State University’s Cali School of Music. There she had the privilege of studying with Peggy Schecter, founder of the New Jersey Chamber Music Society and Susan Palma-Nidel, principal flutist of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra.

Although a classical player by trade, Michelle’s interest in different genres of music has inspired her to continue her studies in latin, jazz and world music. She has had the honor and pleasure of studying with world-renowned Venezuelan flutist, Marco Granados and jazz and choro virtuoso, Anat Cohen. As a performer, Michelle has performed as a soloist and in ensembles throughout the United States, England and Colombia. Michelle currently works as a music educator in Summit, New Jersey.
