I have been playing the flute since I was ten. I studied first with Claude Monteux, then attended the New England Conservatory of Music on a full scholarship, where I studied with James Pappoutsakis of the Boston Symphony and Boston Pops. I learned from the best of the Golden Era of flutists. Other teachers include Julius Baker, Jim Walker and Gary Schocker.

I have an excellent ear and play Bach to Rock, and have played in many different scenarios such as: MC-singer-flutist with the Nevele Catskill Resort, NY House Band; The Atlantic City Casinos including Showboat, Resorts, the Sands and Caesar's as soloist and in ensembles. I performed with James Galway in a flute quintet at Carnegie Hall, in Washington for the Peruvian Ambassador with Emmy award winning World Folk Band, Inca Son and also perform with my jazz group, Geri and the Koolkats.

Presently I perform with the Atlantic Pops in EHT, NJ, am on the board of Jersey Shore Jazz Vespers, and with my classic rock duo "Leather and Lace", with John Oelkers on guitar in the South Jersey area.

I started Magic Flute Wedding Music, providing top musicians/ensembles for your wedding, corporate or private event, ten years ago (see www.magicfluteweddings.com). I have three cds available: "Just Flutin'", solo flute featuring soothing standards and originals; "Wedding Songs"... featuring the Magic Flute players performing all aspects of wedding ceremony music; and "Heartsong"... jazz flute and vocals with various ensembles.
