My name is FolaShade Thompkins. I've been a flutist for 28 years. Music has always been a big part of my life! I enjoy performing and perfecting the craft. I've been in the marching, concert, and jazz bands during my grade school years. I was first chair in the Birmingham City All-City High School Band. I also played in the the UA Honor Band for two years and the UAB Honor Band as well. I have the gift of perfect pitch, so music has come natural to me throughout my life.
