Played from grammar school to early 20's. Went from lessons at school to private teacher who came to my home. Was in marching band
all 4 years of high school. During the summer before my junior year,
our band was invited to participate in contests being held in
Austria. We did LOTS of fund raising and afforded to go. We spent
1 week there winning ribbons and 3rd place representing our State,
and 1 week touring other parts of Europe. Also played in Eastern CT Youth Symphony Orchestra. |
