Andy can be heard on countless movie and TV soundtracks, alongside hundreds of albums for a long list of international artists.
He is a member of the medieval prog rock band "Gryphon", folk-rock band "The Home Service" and is the longest serving player in The Michael Nyman Band.
Andy is known as London's foremost "ethnic" woodwind instrumentalist, having recorded his own sample library for Spitfire Audio.
As a composer, he has produced and performed thousands of music "library" tracks which are played across the media regularly.
Andy performed tin whistle live in the interval act at the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest in Birmingham and was Mike Oldfield's recorder player (In Dulci Jubilo) at the 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony.
He has held over 50 chairs in London's West End and National Theatre productions and plays regularly in Britain's Symphony and Chamber Orchestras.
Andy is principal flute of The National Symphony Orchestra and is a "Pearl Flutes International Artist"and is the proud owner of Geoffrey Gilbert's platinum flute.
